Ars in Fieri takes its young roots in Cambridge. Italian passion and experience, and colourful inspirations from all over Europe meet for the first time on a theatre stage. We are looking for a safe place where to take off the mask and share our true expression. It’s a beautiful work in progress. It’s art in progress.
We link together different worlds working with Cambridge University Italian Society, Radio Dante on Cambridge105, Ludo’s Theatre Group, Bury Theatre Royal and Bury Workshop.

Beaten to death, Pier Paolo Pasolini was found on the coast near Rome under mysterious circumstances in 1975. Forty years later, a group of young performers sets out on a journey through his writings and films, following the threads of Pasolini's poetry and reflecting upon its meaning today.
Sharp writer, poet, intellectual, and controversial maestro of Italian cinema, Pasolini was a prophetic observer of capitalist society.

Ars in Fieri prend ses racines à Cambridge. La passion italienne et l'expérience, ainsi que les inspirations colorées provenant de toute l'Europe se sont rencontrées pour la première fois sur une scène de théâtre. Nous recherchons un endroit sûr où enlever le masque et partager notre véritable expression. C'est un beau travail en progès. C'est un art en progrès. Nous relions ensemble différents mondes de travail avec la société italienne de l'université de Cambridge, la Radio Dante sur Cambridge105, le groupe de théâtre Ludo, le Théâtre Royal Bury et l'atelier Bury.

Frappé à mort, Pier Paolo Pasolini a été trouvé sur la côte près de Rome dans des circonstances mystérieuses en 1975. 40 ans plus tard, un groupe de jeunes acteurs prend la route une journée à travers ses films et ses écrits, suivant le fil de la poésie de Pasolini et réfléchissant sur sa signification actuelle. Ecrivain intelligent, poète, intellectuel, et un maestro controversé du cinéma italien, Pasolini était un observateur prophétique de la société capitaliste.
